Another light novel series is making the leap to anime with The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World announced in March 2026. Known originally as Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi: Kakure Skill de Camping Car o Shōkan Shimashita, the series began in 2019 and saw Kadokawa bring it out in 2020 with artwork by Nitou, where there are six volumes so far. A manga adaptation by Nanan Kogami began in 2020 and has four volumes so far.
With a formal July 6th, 2026, premiere date, the production has now brought out the first preview of the 3rd episode ahead of its July 20th, 2026, debut.
HIDIVE picked up the show as part of its Summer 2026 simulcast season slate in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in key overseas markets, including the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. HIDIVE has announced plans for an English dub to debut with episodes coming out weekly on August 19th, 2026. Dub staff and cast will be revealed closer to the debut.
The adaptation has Atsushi Nigorikawa directing it from the scripts overseen by Takashi Aoshima. Izumi Ishii is handling the character designs with EMT Squared on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Sora Tokui as Rin Takanashi
- Yūki Ono as Vil
- Kaede Hondo as Gomamiso
- Shinnosuke Tachibana as Senon
- Shōya Chiba as Ed
- Sumire Morohoshi as Aria
- Yukari Tamura as Sheila
- Kanehira Yamamoto as Tori
The series features INUWASI for the opening theme song “Butterfly” and the ending theme song “Holy Sweet Home” as performed by Onkan Lemonade.

Plot Concept: Late 20’s caregiver Rin Takanashi has been summoned as a saint, only to then be dumped alone in another world. Equipped with just her ridiculously overpowered god-like skills, Motor Home, aka “Mochan” and Survival, she decides to indulge her love of solo camping and cooking in this strange new place. Thus begins Rin’s journey: one filled with gourmet cuisine and an array of wonderful companions along the way. Now, hop aboard Mochan and enjoy this fantasy world to its fullest!
