DC Comics previously announced a new project debuting on June 10th, 2026, with Absolute Catwoman. The six-issue series will be priced at $4.99 per issue, but there will also be cardstock variant covers as well from David Nakayama, Sozomaika, and Kaare Andrews, priced at $5.99. Mateus Manhanini’s Tedesco contributes a 1:25 incentive variant, while Bengal’s cover will also be offered as an open‑to‑order foil edition priced at $7.99.
With the first two issues out, DC Comics has now dropped a new eight-minute interview with Che Grayson and Scott Snyder talking about the project below.
The book has Che Grayson and Scott Snyder writing and Bengal on the artwork, and also handled the main cover artwork to the right.
Plot Concept: Selina Kyle has carved a good life for herself. Through her ingenuity and skills, she has become the greatest thief the world has ever known. With high-tech gear and weaponry, there is no place too secure for Catwoman. But when someone from her past comes knocking at her door, everything she has built begins to collapse. To survive, Selina must unravel a mystery that takes her across the globe and deep into the shadows of the Absolute Universe. Written by Che Grayson and Scott Snyder with art by Bengal, Catwoman bursts onto the scene in her first Absolute solo series.
