The winter 2021 anime adaptation of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation had its second cour land in the fall of 2021, and we learned in March 2022 that a second season had gotten the green light. The second season ran through the back half of 2023, and the third season was announced in June 2024. The upcoming season is directed by Ryosuke Shibuya featuring a series composotion by Naotok Taniuchi. Sanae Shimada is on board for the character designs, with Studio Bind on board for the animation production.
With the series recently set with a formal July 5th, 2026, premiere date, the production has now brought out a great new character visual for Eris ahead its debut.

The Japanese cast includes Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus Greyrat, Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Konomi Kohara as Roxy Migurdia, Ai Kayano as Sylphiette, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Paul Greyrat, Hisako Kanemoto as Zenith Greyrat, Lynn as Lillia, Daisuke Namikawa as Ruijerd Superdia, and Tomokazu Sugita as Rudeus Greyrat’s former self.
The second season cast additions include Haruka Shiraishi as Sara, Wataru Hatano as Timothy, Chiharu Sawashiro as Mimir, Itaru Yamamoto as Patris, and Kousuke Toriumi as Soldat Heckler.
Third season cast additions include Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Haruka Tomatsu as Nina Farion, and Tetsu Inada as Gal Farion.
The series from Rifujin na Magonote and illustrator Shirotaka is part of the imprint MF Books. The light novels began in 2014 and a manga adaptation kicked off in the same year. Seven Seas Entertainment has the rights to both and is currently releasing them.

Plot Concept: The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby.
With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he’s still a total pervert.
