A new one-shot manga property is kicking off in the 6/2026 installment of Drap Milk magazine with Kimi No Suki Ga Chikazukitai. The new work comes from creator Ataka, and it nabbed the cover of the magazine, as you can see to the right.

Ataka made their debut in 2017 with Sensei wa Watashi no Karada wo Aishiteru and have eight works to their name.
Plot Concept: “Mitsugi, let’s team up!”
For a work assignment, Manabe impulsively asks Mitsugi to be her partner.
Mitsugi had given the impression of being serious and rigid, but as they spent time together, Manabe was drawn to his sincerity and began to think, “He’s a really good guy.”
Meanwhile, Mitsuki also seems quietly pleased to be paired with Manabe.
Then, one day, a casual conversation with a classmate leads Mitsuki to mistakenly believe that “Manabe’s type is someone like an idol.”
The very next day, Mitsuki shows up to school with a drastically changed look, having cut his hair short and taken off his glasses—!?
“Wow, you look so cool!”
Mitsuki has transformed into a perfect, idol-like figure.
The moment Manabe saw him smile happily at the compliment on his new look, her heart began to race…??
