A new manga series has gotten distribution in Japan that’s available from the B’s Lovey imprint via ComicWalker with On the Night Your Voice Falls. Known originally as 君の声が降る夜に, it comes from creator Honoka Goto. You can find the series page here, where it looks like it updates monthly.
I believe this is the debut work from the creator.
Originally known as ComicWalker, Kadokomi is the Kadokawa online manga service that began in March 2014. It distributes works from various Kadokawa manga magazines, both physical and digital, as well as its own original series. Some of the series are released under the Dengeki Comics NEXT imprint.
Plot Concept: When college student Sota can’t sleep, he listens to the game commentary of streamer Genji. His gentle way of speaking and low, smooth voice are soothing and have a calming effect. And best of all, when he hears “goodnight” at the end of the stream, he can truly fall asleep peacefully. One day, in a university lecture, he happens to sit next to someone whose sneeze is distinctive, and he realizes, “It’s just like Genji’s…?!” It turns out that Genji, whose real name is Mamiya, is not good at talking to people and practices speaking through his streams. Unable to leave Mamiya alone at university, Sota suggests that they do a game commentary stream together, saying, “I’ll help you practice”…?! A step-up BL story between a caring, kind young man and a beautiful game commentator!
