Kinship, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Finn Campbell-Notman, Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2023, will be hosted at Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester from June 27 to July 25.
The works, which incorporate Dorset chalk, explore the connection between artist, material, and landscape, and were created in the former Dorset studio of Dame Elisabeth Frink.
Madeleine Bertorelli, gallery director at Sculpture by the Lakes, said: “Finn’s work occupies a fascinating space between tradition and contemporaneity.

“Drawing on art historical references while remaining deeply connected to the landscape, materials and ecology of Dorset, these works feel both timeless and urgently relevant.
“There is a rare sense of deliberation in the exhibition, an invitation to look closely, reflect deeply and consider our relationship with the natural world.
“Presenting Kinship at Sculpture by the Lakes feels particularly fitting.”
Sculpture by the Lakes was founded by Simon and Monique Gudgeon and is set within 26 acres of award-winning lakeside grounds in Pallington near Dorchester, making it one of the South of England’s most distinctive cultural destinations.
Mr Campbell-Notman holds a double first-class BA from Falmouth College of Art and an MA from the Royal College of Art.
He has exhibited internationally, and his commissioned work from the Sky Arts competition is held in the permanent collection at the Queen’s House, Royal Museums Greenwich.
Kinship will be on display in The Gallery at Sculpture by the Lakes from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
