The Becket Arts Center will host two free weekend events including an opening reception for its latest juried art exhibition and a jazz-blues workshop.
The opening reception for “Form, Fact and Fragment” will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 30. The exhibition features sculpture, drawing and mixed media works by Wren Bernstein, Catherine Lipsetz Dauer, Elizabeth diGiacomantonio, Diane Pearl, and Gregory St. John. The show will remain on view through June 21.
A Windsor Jazz-Blues Workshop will follow from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 31, featuring Ben Kohn on keyboard, Jeff Link on bass and Pete Sweeney on drums. Amateur, hobbyist and professional musicians, vocalists and audience members are welcome. The workshop will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with a rain location in the arts center’s upper gallery.
