Fine arts and craft shows fill the summer calendar in the Milwaukee. Many are juried fairs, with artists in a variety of media selected by the event organizers. Use this list to find one near you, and visit host websites for more information.
Morning Glory Art Fair
The free art fair returns to the grounds of the Marcus Performing Arts Center, 929 N. Water St., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 30 and 31. See work from 120 artists and craftspeople representing ceramics, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting and drawing, photography and digital art, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. The Morning Glory Art Fair is the first of two annual Wisconsin Craft events supporting independent artists. The MKE Studio Tour, which provides an opportunity to meet artists working throughout Milwaukee County, is scheduled for Oct. 3 and 4.
The 2026 Morning Glory Art Fair features works by more than 100 artists, including glass by featured artist Michael Mikula.
Lakefront Festival of Art
Works created by juried artists from across the country are on display from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 12-13 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 14 on the grounds of the Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 N. Art Museum Drive. The showcase of fine art includes works in painting, jewelry, ceramics and glass, and includes hands-on art, drop-in tours, live music, food and beverages. Art at the Mill
Works by over 80 juried artists will be on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 20 at Richfield Historical Park, 1896 Highway 164, Richfield. View handmade garden items, paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery and wood products. Vendors will have nuts, baked goods, jams/jelly, chocolates, soap, candles and various other products. New this year is a variety of food provided by Sausage Plus of West Bend. Enjoy live music, craft beer and seltzer provided by Belshire Brewing of Richfield, and visit the 1871 Messer-Mayer Mill on a self-guided tour. Admission is $3. Parking is free. Lake Country Art Festival
The festival is celebrating its 49th year with artwork from over 100 local juried artists on display from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11. View yard art, jewelry, textiles, photography and paintings, with food trucks, beer and wine, and live entertainment in the park. $5 admission. Whitefish Bay Art Fest
Stroll along Silver Spring Drive in Whitefish Bay from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11 and 12 and view original art. Firefly Art Fair
The Wauwatosa Historical Society will host fine art by local and national artists from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 1 and 2 on the grounds of the Kneeland-Walker House, 7406 Hillcrest Drive, Wauwatosa. The 40th Firefly Art Fair will feature artists showing paintings, pottery, ceramics, glass, basketry, jewelry, fiber art, mosaics, photography, pen and ink drawings, metal work and wood. Starving Artist Fair
The free fair is a showcase for Racine County and Midwest artists from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 2 at the DeKoven Center, Wisconsin Ave. and 21st St., Racine. The Racine Art Guild event features original art in nearly every medium. The day includes food, kids art activities, music, a silent auction, raffles and the Racine Art Guild Boutique. Art in the Park
The juried fine art show is presented from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 8 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 9 in Flat Iron Park, 201 Wrigley Drive, Lake Geneva. View art in a lakefront setting featuring more than 80 artists exhibiting a variety of media, including clay/pottery, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, oil/acrylic painting, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor and wood. Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts
The juried fine art exhibition is held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 15 and 16 in Fowler Park, 438 N. Oakwood Ave., Oconomowoc. The festival has featured artists from around the country in ceramics (functional or decorative), drawing/pastels/printmaking, fiber/leather, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting (watercolor, oil or acrylic), photography, sculpture and wood. The Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts includes a silent art auction, a children’s area, musical entertainment, food and refreshments. Wade House Arts and Crafts Fair
Browse whimsical garden art and fine art at the fair hosted by the Wisconsin Historical Society from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Wade House. Stroll the historic grounds and explore the work of artists and makers, including potters, metalworkers, woodworkers and herbalists. The day includes live music, food trucks, horse-drawn wagon rides and blacksmith demonstrations. Admission is $6 and includes access to the fair and historic site. Third Ward Art Festival
The street festival is held Labor Day weekend, Sept. 5 and 6, on Broadway, from St. Paul to Menomonee. The festival showcases the work of more than 200 juried artists working in a variety of media, including ceramics, fiber, glass jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, wood and furniture. Walk in the Woods Art Fair
The juried fine art show is held Sept. 12 along the wooded trails and garden spaces of Hawthorn Hollow, 880 Green Bay Road, Kenosha. Professional artists and fine crafters exhibit a variety of fine art, including glass and garden art, wood sculptures, jewelry, paintings and photography. Harvest of Art & Crafts
The 43rd annual juried art fair will be held Sept. 12 and 13 on the grounds of Trimborn Farm, 8881 W. Grange Ave., Greendale. Holy Hill Arts and Crafts Fair
The 52nd annual fair will be held Sept. 19 on the grounds of the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill, 1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus.
