Review: (Please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
An original work by Shimahara, the spring 2026 anime adaptation is the latest short through the AnimeFesta program and service in Japan. The anime adaptation brought on Saya Fukase to direct it from the series composition by Atsushi Maekawa. The series has UWAN Pictures on the animation production, which has largely done assistance work and 3DCG animation, but has a couple of short projects to its name as well. The property saw a 2018 six-episode run that also had an OVA the next year, but it is the kind of work that hasn’t made its way over until recently, as most streamers won’t touch something of this nature. The series has a strong voice cast to it, including folks like Ai Orikasa, Kanae Ito, and Hikaru Iida, so it’ll definitely draw attention.
After a couple of fun little deviant episodes, the third one focuses on our gamer girl character with Kokoro. It’s no surprise that we get her basically doing a streaming thing here with the cat ear headphones that light up, the off-the-shoulder jacket, and a simple shirt that provides just enough skin to tantalize her audience looking for something real. She mostly handles things well, but things suddenly go badly when all of her viewers leave and has her a bit distraught. Well, except for one guy who always shows up and stays there, regardless of how sharp her tongue may get with her audience from time to time.
This guy makes it clear he’s not like the rest and understands her, so he certainly fluffs her up nicely which makes her all sorts of shy and embarrassed. Naturally, he eventually has a request to make of her – though she shuts down any kind of in-person meeting. That he wants to see her panties is absolutely no surprise in a show like this, but watching her reaction is certainly amusing as she’s angry about it, but the viewers words make their way into her head and she can’t help but to slowly give in to it since he’s such a special long-time viewer. It’s every cliche you’d normally imagine for something like this, and seeing how she gives into it slowly but sure, especially with that disappointed expression, is exactly what drives people to watching a show like this. They’re certainly cute panties, at least, from what little we really do see. The end card more than makes up for it, however.

In Summary:
If you’re watching this show you know exactly what you’re going to get. Each episode is essentially the same when you get down to it. But it’s the details and designs that keep you coming back. Kokoro is pretty fun to watch here, though she doesn’t give her single special viewer all that much to work with at the end. It’s still a lot of fun watching her go through everything, and if you enjoy that disgusted face, well, you’re going to get it here. Definitely solid in design and aesthetic, so it succeeds well in what it’s doing. I just wish it had a bit more to it overall to make it more engaging.
