The Digimon property is expanding with the reveal of the Digimon Beatbreak series in March 2025. The new project is set for an October 2025 debut with Toei Animation once again behind the animation project. The new work has Hiroyuki Kakudo directing it with character designs by Rie Nishimura.
The show saw an October 5th, 2025, premiere date, and Hulu announced its pickup of the series for a same-day premiere. The latest update is that the first preview of the 28th episode is due out on April 25th, 2026.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Natsuki Hanae as Taichi Yagami
- Yoshimasa Hosoya as Ishida Yamato
- Yoshitaka Yamaya Iori Hida
- Chika Sakamoto as Agumon
- Mayumi Yamaguchi as Gabumon
- Megumi Urawa as Armadillomon
- Hiroaki Hirata as Takeru Takaishi
- Miwa Matsumoto as Patamon
- Miyu Irino as Tomorō Tenma
- Megumi Han as Digimon Gekkomon
The opening song is “Mad Pulse” performed by MADKID while the ending theme song is “beat up” as performed by Ai Tomioka.

Plot Concept: Time has passed since that summer adventure, and there are even more children with partner Digimon now. However, because of their unique nature, many children face the looming shadows of persecution and being targeted for military use. While Taichi and Yamato are working to rescue children, they are attacked by mysterious Digimon.
