Previously, we saw an anime adaptation based on the novels Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs. The series had a formal premiere on the main networks in Japan on April 3rd, 2022, and Crunchyroll streamed it overseas. We learned during Christmas 2022 that a second season was coming, but it’s been quiet since then.
With 2026 plans set recently, the show has now been formalized for a July 2026 debut with the release of its first promo and a new key visual.

Plot Concept: Office worker Leon is reincarnated into a dating sim video game, where women reign supreme and only beautiful men have a seat at the table. But Leon has a secret weapon: he remembers everything from his past life, which includes a complete playthrough of the very game in which he is now trapped. Can Leon spark a revolution to change this new world order?
