TULSA, Okla. –
Student artists and supporters of public education will gather in Tulsa later this month for an evening dedicated to creativity, opportunity and the power of the arts.
Foundation for Tulsa Schools will host ARTrageous 2026, its signature gala, on April 25 at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown.
Now in its third year, the event celebrates student achievement in the arts while raising money to support programs and initiatives that benefit Tulsa Public Schools.
Moises Echeverria said the gala highlights the important role arts education plays in student success.
“Arts, like sports, often motivate students to come to school,” Echeverria said. “They provide a positive outlet for creativity and self-expression, helping students feel engaged, encouraged and connected.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to view selected pieces from the Tulsa Public Schools District Art Show. Each participating student artist receives a stipend to recognize the time, talent and creativity invested in their work and to encourage them to see themselves as professionals in the art community.
Funds raised through ARTrageous support the Foundation for Tulsa Schools’ operations and more than 35 programs and initiatives. Those efforts include Any Given Child, Grants for Great Ideas, Explore Oklahoma and additional programs focused on student engagement, educator support and strengthening schools across the district.
A dedicated portion of the evening’s proceeds will also benefit Tulsa Public Schools’ Fine Arts Department and the Any Given Child program, helping expand equitable access to arts education.
Organizers say the event is one of the best ways for community members to directly invest in Tulsa students and educators while celebrating the talent already thriving in local classrooms.
Registration and sponsorship information is available through the Foundation for Tulsa Schools. More details can also be found on the organization’s social media pages.
