In February 2025, with the usual caveat that domain registrations do not guarantee an anime adaptation, we talked about one happening for the manga series Kamiina Botan Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana. The property translates as Kamiina Botan, Drunk Figure Is Lily Flower, and is localized as Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk, which began in 2019 as serialized in Manga Cross for Akita Shoten by creator Hey.
The anime has set Takashi Sakuma as the director with Shuntaro Tozawa assisting as they work from scripts by Yoko Yonaiyama. Kou Yoshinari is handling the character designs with Soigne on the animation production.
With an April 10th, 2026, premiere date, the production has now brought out the first preview of the 2nd episode ahead of its April 17th, 2026, debut.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Kamiina Botan
- Yoshino Aoyama as Ibuki Tonami
- Minako Kotobuki as Kanade Gujyo
- Yurina Amami as Akane Yusa
- Maki Kawase as Chang Chin-lan
Creator Hey made their debut in 2013 with Tarachine Paradox and began Tsuki no Tenement in 2018 before taking on this ongoing title.

Plot Concept: Kamiina Botan is a 20-year-old college student. At the welcome party for the dorm she was assigned to, the dorm leader Ibuki gives her a highball to drink and she becomes tipsy, leading to her involvement with Ibuki from now on. A tipsy teasing girl’s comedy.
