Above the Clouds is landing in Melbourne’s inner north with a Melbourne street art-stacked lineup of seven artists, a warehouse full of paint and a whole lot of skill.

Curated by Jah Smith and presented by CTO, the show draws on graffiti, street culture and contemporary art to explore themes of elevation, escapism and perspective; the kind of exhibition that truly means something.

Held at a Kensington warehouse space, Above the Clouds features works by Peter Seaton, Cody Weightman, Ngarra Kulin, Aurora Campbell, Mayonaize, Kitt Bennett and Lisa King, a Melbourne street art lineup that spans practices and perspectives while keeping things rooted in Naarm’s creative energy.

Expect large-scale pieces that hit hard alongside more intimate works that pull you in close.

Running 16 to 24 April, the show kicks off and wraps up with evening events worth showing up to, with viewings by appointment through the week. Don’t sleep on this one, it’s Melbourne street art, we do it best.
