The anime adaptation of the light novel series Classroom of the Elite, back in August 2018, went over generally well, and it saw both streaming and home video releases in North America and beyond. We learned back in February 2022 that a sequel season had gotten the green light, and then in March 2022, a third season was in the works as well, which made a January 2024 premiere.
We learned all the way back in September 2024 that a fourth season was confirmed, which will move the characters into the first semester of the second year. With an April 1st, 2026, premiere date, Crunchyroll is handling the simulcast for it and has a new clip from the 1st episode. They gonna stand out in that hoodie though..
The show has Noriyuki Nomata directing the season from the scripts overseen by Yasushi Shigenobu. Maki Kono is handling the character designs with Lerche on board for the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:

The new season features the theme songs with “MONSTER” by Eir Aoi and “Liar Veil” by ZAQ.

Plot concept: Kōdo Ikusei Senior High School, a leading prestigious school with state-of-the-art facilities where nearly 100% of students go on to university or find employment. The students there have the freedom to wear any hairstyle and bring any personal effects they desire. Kōdo Ikusei is a paradise-like school, but the truth is that only the most superior of students receive favorable treatment. The protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokōji is a student of D-class, which is where the school dumps its “inferior” students in order to ridicule them. For a certain reason, Kiyotaka was careless on his entrance examination and was put in D-class. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyō Kushida, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka’s situation begins to change.
