That’s a lot of content. Note that Bungie has made some (very vocal) fans angry by vaulting some of the paid DLC, making it no longer playable. And I agree, that’s not great! But this is a lot of content for not a lot of money, and the more recent DLC is unlikely to be vaulted anytime soon.
Another frequent complaint is that the onboarding experience for Destiny 2 is atrocious. I’m a lapsed player myself, and I can attest that it’s difficult to know what to do when I sign on, as I do periodically. So if you’re a new or returning player, know that you’ll probably have to do some Googling to figure out where to start and what to do.
On the plus side, if you ask me, no shooters feel as good to play as Bungie shooters. Destiny 2 plays like a dream. And if you’re a PC gamer, you can take advantage of the 25% off coupon for Marathon that’s included in the highest tier. That would save you $10.
