The Spy x Family manga from Tatsuya Endo has been doing pretty well in Japan and abroad as a bit of a crossover property. The manga has had three seasons of TV episodes so far and some theatrical material as well. Now, a new wave of fans are about to come on board as Netflix has confirmed that the first series will arrive on April 4th, 2026, on the service. The show has been made available in other regions over the years for all three seasons, but it’s unclear how much beyond the first season we’ll get from Netflix in the US this Saturday until it arrives.
The series is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi with Wit Studio and CloverWorks handling the production. Kazuaki Shimada is on board to adapt the designs.
The Japanese cast includes Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Franky Franklin, Yuko Kaida as Sylvia Sherwood, and Kazuhiro Yamaji as Henry Henderson.
The English cast includes Alex Organ as Loid Forger, AKA Agent Twilight, Natalie Van Sistine as Yor Forger, and Megan Shipman as Anya Forger.
The property began in Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and has had digital chapters released in English at the same time. There are currently sixteen volumes in print in Japan, with it ongoing. Check out our review of the first eleven chapters.
