Mojang Studios has returned for a March 2026 edition of Minecraft Live, and we’re here to pick out all of its biggest announcements and reveals.
The developer behind the long-running sandbox video game is just moments away from pulling back the curtain to give fans a sneak peek at some of its plans for the year. It’s been rather shy when it comes to telling fans what to expect, with its trailer for the event only teasing a potential update for the upcoming Tiny Takeover Minecraft game drop, as well as some “secret stuff.”
We’ll see exactly what Mojang’s got cooking at the crafting table when the main show begins on YouTube and Twitch at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Until then, be sure to keep refreshing this page to see everything announced at the Minecraft Live March 2026 presentation.
Mojang Goes Big With Tiny Takeover Update Deep Dive and a March Release Date
Tiny Takeover was one of the least surprising topics set for Minecraft Live, but it’s still exciting, nonetheless. This baby mod update, now with a release date of March 24, gives every critter and creature a facelift with new looks, cuter sounds, and more. Today’s presentation offered a closer look at how it will change the way players see mobs while also serving as a reminder that other new features, such as the ability to craft namtags, will be available, too.
“Tiny Takeover is one of the biggest cosmetic updates we’ve done,” gameplay tech lead Felix Jones said during the show, “and we have over a hundred for these baby mobs.”
