Earlier today during ComicsPRO, keynote speaker Robert Kirkman announced details for Terminal, an all-new superhero series arriving this July which will mark Kirkman’s proper return to the superhero genre since Invincible. Kirkman is truly assembling an all-star creative team for this project which will include a writing team of himself and Joe Casey alongside artists Andy Kubert, David Finch, and Arthur Adams, colorist Dave McCaig, and letterer Rus Wooten.

There is a secret war being waged across the world by two violent forces with superhuman abilities who blur the lines between good and evil.
When Marilyn Howe’s search for her missing sister Alessandra puts her in the center of this conflict, she’ll learn that the power to save the world comes from unlocking your genetic code and giving up everything you thought you knew about yourself…if you survive the experience.
It goes without saying the creative team consists of some of the biggest names in the business. Here’s what they had to say to tease and hype the project:
“Listen, I’ve done my fair share of press release quotes but never for anything this cool,” said Robert Kirkman. “This will be the coolest comic on the market by the best creative team ever assembled. I dare you to find a book with a more stunning array of artistic talent. Go on, I’ll wait! You can’t! Building characters and environments with Robert and Joe was some of the most fun I’ve had in comics. Heck, just getting to know them is a blast! And that comes through on every page and every panel. Honestly, I thought I had drawn pretty much everything until I got involved with Terminal!”
